Beautiful Breasts.
But what is FAT GRAFTING?
Micro-fat grafting, or autologous transfer, involves harvesting fat from one part of the body (usually the flanks, hips, abdomen, thighs or lower back), and then re-injected into the needed areas. Fat grafting may have to be done more than once since fat survival varies with location: it is is best in areas which exhibit the least movement. For example, fat grafts in the cheeks survive better than in the lips or Buttocks. Furthermore, graft survival is variable from one patient to the other. Fat grafting carries a very low risk of complications which may include infection, asymmetry, or lumpiness. These occurrences are rarely seen. The advantage is that it is your own natural tissue, it is soft and it is permanent.
Breast Augmentation is a personal choice usually patients prefer a modest augmentation and one that is proportionate to their body. A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon can help you make the right choices customized for you.
Immediate improvement in patients’ symptoms is frequently seen seen after breast reduction surgery. Typically, breast hypertophy occurs in both breasts and happens at puberty or soon thereafter.

Body lifts can be used to treat excess skin, and sagging fatty tissue. This procedure may be performed on people who have sustained massive weight loss after bariatric surgery such as gastric bypass or Lap Band.

From skin, to creams, to research, stem cells are continuously proving to be ground breaking in our Plastic Surgery community. Doctors at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourn, Australia, have introduced an innovated stem cell therapy, Neopec. It offers a natural alternative for women to regrow their breast after cancer surgery. Neopec uses a woman’s own regenerative capacity to grow new fat tissue in her breasts and involves implanting a breast-shaped biodegradable chamber into the chest before surgeons redirect blood vessels into the chamber with the patient’s own fat cells. In the next four to six months, the fat grows into the shape of the chamber, which dissolves ehen the new breast is formed. Neopec hopes to provide a solution that is more natural than tissue transplants or silicone implants. Human trials are due to begin before the middle of the year and once perfected, it would also be offered to woman who have had, defects of previous reconstructions or congenital deformities.
When Full Facial Rejuvenation is completed (Lower Facelift, Mid Facelift, Brow Lift, and Blephoraplasty), the completed result can be dramatic!
With a Mini-Lift the scars are shorter, less conspicuous and recovery is faster. This patients’ rejuvenated appearance was accomplished with a Mini Facelift and some fat grafting of the cheeks. Her cheeks are fuller and her jaw line is smoothened.
“Full Face-Lift” usually includes a complete harmonious combination of Lower Facelift, Mid Facelift, Brow lift, and sometimes, eye lid improvement. This patient demonstrates the importance of including all elements of composite rejuvenation.
